Midlands Scale Fly-In 19th July 2009

TrexMAD are pleased to have been asked to supply a great scale raffle prize and help sponser the event in July. Above is Darren Swalles' EC135 featured recently in MHW so you can see these guys are serious scalers. The event is due to be attended by all the big names in scale and should be full of impressive models, possibly THE scale eveny of the year in the UK.

New location for the shop, its taken a lot longer than I expected but we are about to move in, it will be in Burnley, 287 Manchester Road BB11 4HL. Breaking News: We have just had a VERY limited quanty of these arrive so if you want one, get it quick!. The first pics of the box layout, and if you have had the later 250 kits it follows the same method, placing the parts in a plastic tray.

T-Rex 450 Pro is nearly ready!

Looks like the new heli is almost ready for us, loads of changes from the V2 and complete with torque tube - see the latest news across for further pictures the new heli from Align that youll all want. Released 1st week in April -

V-Blades will be back soon, and available via FlightTech...Vic at V-Blades has moved production to Malaysia to keep prices down as the cost that Made in USA was too high...available soon. Price look great as well....

R22E - UK Scale Electric heli?

Now this IS a BIG Electric heli.. This is another project and possibly the biggest one so far. A Vario R22 E for Electric, well we now gone one better with an even bigger electric heli, this really is the BIGGEST electric heli in the UK? ... more details will follow when I write them up...

Canomod for T-Rex 250's soon

Yes they do it again, this is just 3 of 7 amazing canopies from Canomod, usual quality and attention to detail, I can see these being very popular...priced at around £25 but to be confirmed.

Funcopter - from Multiplex, a heli you can bounce...

Coming soon from Multiplex is their very first heli, its not a tiny contra blade heli but a large fixed pitch one aimed at the beginner or someone wanting the next step up from a contra blade heli, priced at approxx £199 for the kit and £299 for the ARTF version...

NEW Trex 450 PRO - the first pictures

Looks like they are well on with the latest version of the T-Rex 450 as you can see from the pictures the design looks like a mini 500 frames wise, with torque tube tail drive and lots more...anyway Im sure we will have more info soon.......pre orders anyone ! trex450xxx

T-Rex 250 - Friday Nights Indoor Flying

Nice one Nick, first night out and one of the lucky few kits we supplied, flying his new T-Rex 250 Super Combo and after some tweeks was more than happy, until he went for a flip, anyway it seems to bounce really well, cracking turn out and a few more new faces that was good to see, its turning into a great plce to come fly and watch grown men try to remove a well stuck bolt - they were still hard at it when I left !!!

Saturday 10.00am - 3.00pm
We are closed each weekday for lunch between 1 and 2pm !

**During the Summer Season (June-September) the shop may close early at 4.00pm as we go out taking flying lessons, so if your thinking of visiting late, please phone first to make sure we are in :)

RVMHC - Club Page

The best, if not the only place to be seen flying your RC heli...in the North West.

RVMHC is a club primarily for helicopters set up by a group of friends in the Ribble Valley area of Lancashire. The club was formed in the summer of 2008.

We have and indoor venue which is at Training 2000, Woolwich Street, Blackburn. We meet at the indoor venue on Friday nights from 7-10p.m.

We also have our own private outdoor venue which is available to fly 7 days a week. However we normally meet at 10:30 on Sunday mornings until just after dinner time.

Big Vario R22 Scale... started

We are doing a rather special Vario R22 ... see the Projects section above for more details.

SimpleCanopy

We are starting to add a custom spray service to any of the canopies we supply, these are by no way a Canomod type but nice and simple for an extra £10-£15 on top of the plain canopy price, maybe you need it bright or just a bit of sparkle adding to make your canopy more individual. We use Auto-Air Colors Custom Paint and are all deep clearcoated to finish.This is a T-Rex500 canopy ready for the customer @ £25. (Usually 48hrs deilvery from order depending on complexity - For a quote or details please email canopies@trexmad.co.uk

Scale Heli Painting...

We can also do scale heli fuselages large and small as well. But these are a little bit more expensive :) - Again if your interested in a quote then drop us an email - canopies@trexmad.co.uk
